The group about to begin the rail trail between
Boolarra and Mirboo. Led by Rudi and Grazie

A typical section of the rail trail. It had just
come down in buckets with a high wind and
we all had donned our rainwear

In the heart of rural Gippsland. They say it
never rains in Gippsland??

Judges of the Supreme Court? They sure
look judgemental - and wise?

There were many large rural properties
next to the trail

We had lunch in a brand new shelter - just
over half way

Nearly home in sunshine

Haydn's walk at Sugarloaf Reservoir began in
rain squalls and showers. Such a pity in terms
of photos and enjoying this beautiful outing.

After an hour or so we did get to see some open
sky - no sun as yet.

It was very wet underfoot as we squelched our
way around the inlets. Note the rainwear.

It looked just across the water; but it took an
awful long time to get there!

Weather cleared a little after lunch - off and on.
About two thirds of the way around the reservoir.

Judy, Arnis and Di - our leader for this walk.
At the start the group dedicated the outing in
memory of Ken.

The path through Endeavour Gulley. A very
pretty walk among the fern trees and gums.

After a cloudy start the sun was welcome. This
large property is typical of the area.

One of many lovely properties next to the path.
The owner was busy mulching the new garden
on the right of the house.

Sunnier later with views to the sea. There
are lots of rolling green hills in this part of
the peninsula.

Spring lamb. With lots of green grass to eat.
