Berry Beach on Phillip Island. Clio led this
outing on a warm, humid morning. A lovely,
relatively quiet beach.

A hazy day, with more cloud than this pic
suggests; we had an excellent turn out - 22
participants and a further 2 for lunch, when
Simon and Joan joined us.

The path was similar to the Punchbowl walk;
here Val leads a group up an incline

A section along a boardwalk. This section was
green, but there was a fair amount of dry and
brown growth.

Heading towards our lunch spot. The path
was good and the going easy.

A very rugged coastline. The rock pool in the
next pic is at the bottom right of the large rock
out to sea.

We walked from Woori Yallock to O'Shannassy
aqueduct picnic ground. The first part was an
easy stroll down theWarburton trail. Not yet
hot, this was most enjoyable.

On the side of the Warburton trail we passed
a large area with exotic animals. Could have
been in another country!!

Posted by Picasa
We simply cannot identify this animal. The tail
looks suspiciously like a large African mammal -
Rhino or Hipp, but the ears (horns) aren't. Perhaps
a cow??

It was almost like passing a large country-side
zoo. Not the prettiest birds around!

A rest on the steep climb to the O'Shannassy
aqueduct from Don Road.

Once we ascended the aqueduct the going was
cooler and prettier.

The tree ferns along the O'Shannassy aqueduct
are truly magnificent.
