Chris' Noojee walk. An excellent turnout of 24 for the
day. Here the group gets ready - and catches up with
all the news!
Leaving the car park area and off on the Loch Valley
Walk - the first stage of the 3 part outing.
The early part of the outing - note the lovely forested
environment
Sandra and Gwenda lead the way along the Loch Valley
Walk. Ilona sent me this one.
Completed the first leg and off to the trestle bridge via
the Noojee Hotel
The Latrobe river below the Noojee Hotel.
The famous trestle bridge, where they have the annual
lunch, spanning the whole bridge with diners! Ilona's pic.
Debating on whether to cross and do the descent on
the other side to the picnic spot
Picture taken by Ilona. On the way to the waterfalls;
Rudi about to capture the pic!
Toorongo Falls - lots of water and very attractive
Amphitheatre falls - the final show on this wonderful
walk

Janine's mid week walk, assisted by Val. This is the
London Bridge on a dark gloomy morning - it got better
as the day progressed.
Photo aspect ratio incorrect - we are not that wide!!
Clever camera took the pic
Janine flying off the runway - used by hang gliders.
Imagine the view from the front of this palace!
Some very larny homes along the cliff face of Sorrento
The Private Jetty - getting there can be tricky!

Another senior moment - the Oxfam pics are in the
wrong order. This shows the cars waiting after this
steep descent into Wesburn Park. We were very
relieved to get to this point.
The Brutal up. After 97 kms and over 20 hours of
hiking this very steep, nearly 1 km long uphill is just
heartbreaking! The Oxfam faithful deserve a medal.
Art Gallery fantasy - on way to Backstairs track
Taken from bridge in Warburton on way back to the
Backstairs track
Janine and Chris climbing up Backstairs track - en
route to the ridge to Mt Little Joe
Along the O'Shannassy aqueduct trail - probably already
beyond our turn off. The final legs of the Oxfam marathon.

Clio's replacement walk for the Werribee Gorge,
cancelled because of the Fun Run. A walk along the
Yarra River in Warrandyte State Park.
Di, Rudi and Karen on one of the many bridges over
creeks along the way
A glimpse of the Yarra through the trees. It was
difficult to get clear pics - too many trees!
