Haydn sent me this pic of our recent walk at Johns Hill. Lovely scenery

Rudi's walk in the lovely scenery of the Dandenongs - started at the Daffodil farm
Our walk began with a long, steep climb (and it was not the last)
Flower children or the choir getting ready for our next sing along?
The blossoms deserve a prettier name than Crabapple
Just having climbed the many Steps, easy to follow the instruction!!
Puffing Billy came through Clematis Station while we were having lunch!

Haydn's walk in Lysterfield Lake Park. Just 7 of us on a beautiful morning in a very crowded park,
We had our tea in Boys Farm dormitory - then took in the various points of interest in the vicinity
Our route took us past the quarry
Rosemary and Don near the Trig point - looking good after a long uphill!!
The highest point of our walk, near the Trig point, views to the Bay
There was some mountain bike event - our lunch at the pretty pond was constantly under threat from speeding boys and girls
We saw quite a few wallabies; this old guy shuffled across the track
Much younger and curious - but used to human traffic
Nearly there - we finally covered 16.7 kms - up and down (phew)!

Janine's walk at Edithvale Wetlands. A good turnout of 18 and so good to see Gwenda, Carol and Ken again. Also welcome to newcomers Jo and Shirl.
Di and Ken; it was great to see Ken back in harness
Val, Sandra and Gwenda - early arrivals at the meeting spot
Good paths, good weather, good company; a great outing
View from the bird hide we used as our tea spot
Black swan and cygnets taken from the hide
