Typical diversion - fisherman and dog receive
much attention from BBC members. Note the
addicted camerawoman.
Barb's picture of some flora. Needs identification.
Please comment if you know.
The serious walkers emerge from a pipe-
tunnel under a road, and ......
... and the not-so- serious ones. Is this an
indication of carpal tunnel syndrome??
Our lunch spot. It was cloudy all morning,
but little wind and good walking weather.
Postal Art. Barb has removed all the graffiti
and the signboard - also covered in graffiti.
Patience and care get the result.
Does it get better?
Beach area - close to car park

Altona Wetlands - living up to it's name!
The weather offered interesting lighting -
Barb's pic
How's that for an informative sign??
How things have changed in 9 years!
1oo steps - looks more formidable than it is!
Memorial sculpture at top of 100 steps -
note the warm clothing
Now how did he manage to park there?
City skyline from 100 steps - with a little help

We saw a number of swamp wallaby families.
Quite a few youngsters about, too.
The wells were sealed with concrete domes -
there are a few still around
